Nitrogen Research Workgroup

The American Malting Barley Association (AMBA) Sustainability Committee commissioned a multi-year study to investigate different fertility inputs that have the potential to lower greenhouse gas emissions from the production of barley. This study, across North Dakota, Montana, and Idaho, not only investigates the efficacy of these products, but also the feasibility and economic viability of these inputs in the production of high quality malting barley.
